About My Clients

Do you or your child feel things so deeply that it sometimes feels overwhelming? Kids I see often struggle to express big feelings, which may show up as meltdowns or withdrawal. Teens & young adults I work with describe themselves as “deep feelers” or high achievers who seem fine on the outside but carry anxiety, trauma, or stress within. Adults I support are often navigating relationships, chronic illness, or old patterns. Together, we’ll create a safe space for healing, resilience, and growth.

My Background and Approach

My approach is trauma-informed, relational, and collaborative. Rooted in psychodynamic therapy, interpersonal neurobiology, polyvagal theory, narrative, sensorimotor, and person-centered care, I help clients explore both past and present while noticing how relationships, experiences, and the nervous system shape life today. With children, I specialize in play therapy and creative expression, offering a safe and natural way for kids to process emotions and experiences. For teens and young adults, I often support “deep feelers” and high achievers by weaving in DBT, TF-CBT, mindfulness, and somatic tools to build coping skills and resilience. With adults, our work might focus on trauma therapy, navigating anxiety, or creating healthier relationship patterns. Across all ages, I value client autonomy and bring curiosity, care, and collaboration into the therapeutic relationship, walking alongside you as you move toward healing and growth.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that everyone deserves a safe, supportive space where they can show up exactly as they are. I hold to the values of unconditional positive regard, non-discrimination, and non-stigma in my work. I know that healing is possible for anyone when they are met with care, compassion, and respect. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” people—it’s about creating a relationship where you feel seen, heard, and valued as a whole person. I believe that we are all shaped by our stories and relationships, and that new patterns and possibilities can emerge when those stories are explored in safety. My role as a therapist is to walk alongside you with empathy and curiosity while you discover your own strengths and path to growth. And just for fun—I also believe that life is better with plenty of play, laughter, and creativity along the way.
