Our clinicians support women across the lifespan with issues related to relationships, periods of uncertainty, emotional overwhelm, identity exploration, family dynamics, domestic violence, and major life transitions. We have been trained to understand the person in their environment, meaning that we consider not only what the person is struggling with on an individual level, but also the roles that systemic and institutional factors play in the person's experience.

Our clinicians are well-suited to support clients navigating infertility, engaging in assisted reproductive therapies, or struggling with pregnancy loss.

Our clinicians have training to recognize the full range of what pregnancy and postpartum can bring, not just postpartum depression, but perinatal anxiety, OCD, PTSD, and the harder-to-name moments of rage, intrusive thoughts, or feeling like a stranger in your own life.

Interpersonal Psychotherapy, IPT, is a kind of therapy that focuses on interpersonal issues. It is an evidence-based approach that has been shown to be effective with a wide range of disorders, particularly useful for women struggling with postpartum depression and postpartum anxiety. IPT targets three important areas — resolving symptoms, improving functioning in your relationships with other people, and increasing social support.

Using CBT tools, we can examine your thought patterns, pinpoint thought errors, and help you develop alternative, more effective ways of thinking. We can also examine how your behaviors may be making you feel worse and look at how you can experiment with behavior change to bring about positive emotion change. CBT can be helpful across so many different challenges, whether you are struggling with postpartum anxiety, postpartum depression, postpartum OCD, depression, anxiety, OCD, etc.

In ACT, we focus on developing acceptance, which means being able to say, “okay, this is how things are." We reduce our attachment to our thoughts and feelings, which can help us relate to them in a way where they no longer feel like they rule our lives. We focus on being present so we can be more flexible and also be able to align more with what is really important and act in line with what we value. We get clear on what your values are to help you make choices that align with them.
