About My Clients
I work best with teens, young adults, and college-aged clients navigating anxiety, stress, and life transitions. Many feel overwhelmed, stuck, or caught in people-pleasing patterns. I also support parents seeking guidance and tools to better understand and connect with their teens. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, helping clients build confidence, emotional resilience, and healthier relationships.
My Background and Approach
I earned my BA in Psychology from the University of San Francisco and my Master’s in Counseling Psychology from Dominican University (2013). I’ve been a licensed LMFT since 2016, with experience in both private practice and school-based settings. I specialize in working with teens, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, stress, and relationship challenges. My background allows me to meet clients where they are and provide practical, evidence-based tools. Clients benefit from a warm, collaborative approach that builds insight, confidence, and lasting emotional resilience.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe strong relationships and emotional safety are the foundation for growth. I’m passionate about helping teens and young adults feel seen, understood, and supported, especially in a culture that often prioritizes achievement over well-being. My work is grounded in authenticity, inclusivity, and respect for each client’s unique identity and experiences. I value creating a space where all clients feel welcome, including those from diverse cultural backgrounds and LGBTQ+ communities. I’m also committed to supporting parents with compassion and practical tools, so families can move from disconnection to stronger, more meaningful relationships. I love hanging with my dog, being in nature, watching the best television shows, and reading anything that I can get my hands on.
