About My Clients
Many of the people I work with are moving through seasons of change. It might be infertility, pregnancy or postpartum shifts, loss or the impact of trauma. Some are gender-diverse or nonbinary and navigating a world that isn't always safe or affirming. They’re often balancing caregiving, work, relationships and expectations while feeling stretched thin. Therapy becomes a place to pause, tend to what’s been carried quietly and reconnect with themselves in a way that feels grounded and real.
My Background and Approach
I’m Caitlin, an LPC in Texas and the founder of Cosmic Daisy Counseling. I bring evidence‑based care like EMDR together with empathy, curiosity and practical support so therapy feels both human and grounded. I know from personal experience what it’s like to carry grief and complicated emotions while trying to live your life. I will meet you where you are, holding space for the messy, tender and often unspoken parts of your story. In sessions, we’ll explore what matters most to you, helping you make sense of your experiences in ways that honor your identity, values and lived reality. Together we’ll work through trauma, loss, infertility, perinatal changes and gender‑related challenges, finding ways to feel more connected, steady and empowered as you navigate life’s transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Being a human is exhausting, especially these days, whether it’s relationships, work stress, trauma, parenting or just trying to exist within systems like capitalism and patriarchy. I believe we are all carrying so much (grief, hope, exhaustion, love and everything in between) and yet we keep going. I’m committed to holding space for LGBTQIA+ clients, especially trans and nonbinary folks, in a world that is often unsupportive, confusing or outright hostile to our community. I see how capitalism, patriarchy and systems beyond our control shape our lives, our choices and the weight we carry. I honor the complexities of motherhood, caregiving and surviving in a world that asks too much. Therapy, for me, is about witnessing it all, holding the messy and tender parts of your story and helping you reconnect with yourself, your values and what matters most, even when the world feels heavy and overwhelming.
