About My Clients
I work with people looking to heal from trauma and gain insight into self. Often my clients are working through difficult relational or family of origin experiences, seeking to relate to loved ones (and themselves) in a new way. I'm a good fit for those looking to know themselves better, who ask the existential questions, and whose goal is to live their most authentic life. I really love working with healers, helping professionals, and healthcare workers to overcome burnout.
My Background and Approach
For me, the therapeutic relationship is everything. I truly see us as partners in this process and I feel honored to be your co-pilot. This is why I place the greatest importance on our relationship. We can learn so much about ourselves through our attachment and interactions with others and having security in this area fosters growth. This is our foundation. Internal Family Systems, EMDR, mindfulness, and somatic work provide us with the language and structure to understand ourselves and shift where it's needed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
What lights me up about my work is the opportunity to be with my clients as they get curious about what makes them tick and find an appreciation for their uniqueness. It is my hope that all of my clients not only find relief, but also greater acceptance and connectedness with self. My personal mission statement is to “foster the light within, share the light with others, and help others to do the same.” I believe we all have both light and dark within us and sometimes, we lose sight of our strengths and inherent goodness. I work with my clients to build insight into self, find acceptance, and create change where necessary. It is through this courageous dive into self, that we can manifest greater connection with others and more contentment in our lives.
