About My Clients
My clients are motivated people looking to make changes or make sense in their lives. I specialize in working with educators, those who are part of the LGBTQIA+ community, those exploring their gender identity, and people going through life changes.
My Background and Approach
I have been a social worker since 2015 and have worked in a LGBTQ community center, PHP/IOP mental health center, and public schools, seeing clients from ages 4 to 90. My practice is client-directed and takes into consideration all of the factors that influence your identity: family, community, and the world as a whole. I often utilize a CBT, feminist, relational approach to help you work through any obstacles and help you accomplish your goals, but we'll find the modality that works for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I identify as a Queer, Genderqueer, white feminist therapist who is culturally curious and reality-based. I believe we have to keep in mind the realities of the complexity of our world and policies and laws that affect our everyday lives. I am constantly striving to grow in my practice of anti-racism, social justice, and advocacy and believe that every person is worthy of dignity and respect.
