About My Clients
Do you often feel like you’re “too much and not enough” at the same time? Maybe your mind feels busy, you put a lot of pressure on yourself, or you’ve always felt a little different from those around you. I work with children, teens, and young adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, and the unique challenges of being gifted or neurodivergent. Together, we create space to better understand yourself, feel more at ease, and grow into who you are.
My Background and Approach
The tools and strategies I bring to sessions are designed to help you feel more in control, manage overwhelming feelings, and grow confidence in yourself. I’m trained in both EMDR and Brainspotting, mind-body therapies that help process emotions and calm your nervous system, and I use approaches that are trauma-informed, strengths-based, and neurodivergent-affirming to meet you where you are. I’ve also lived with anxiety, ADHD, and perfectionism, so I understand what it feels like to feel “too much and not enough” or out of place. Together we focus on practical ways to navigate life’s pressures, process intense emotions, and reconnect with your resilience. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling supported, understood, and more equipped for whatever comes next.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has the capacity to grow and change, even when it feels impossible. I went to therapy when I was younger and have watched family members struggle with mental health, and those experiences shaped how I view care, support, and healing. I know what it is like to wrestle with anxiety, ADHD, and perfectionism, and I want clients to know that therapy is not about fixing you, it is about helping you find strategies, support, and clarity so life feels a little more manageable. I enjoy reading books while curled up with my animals. I hate pickles even though one of my cats is named Pickles. I love exploring new coffee shops, being near the water, and kayaking. I try to live with curiosity, compassion, and a little humor, and I bring that same energy into my work so clients feel seen, understood, and supported.
