Do you worry or 'think ahead' about situations that do not happen? Do you avoid new people, places, and things? Do you find yourself longing for your comfort zone, but frustrated with monotony? You may be suffering with anxiety. Caitlin has researched and studied anxiety disorders for over 5 years. She teaches clients a spectrum of specific coping tools that interrupt and reduce anxiety, so that clients can seek positive experiences, instead of avoiding anxious ones.
Depression may arrive on its own, or accompanied by another disorder such as anxiety. Depression may leave us feeling tired, confused, sad, or nothing at all. When working with depression, safety is assessed first. Then, Caitlin's clients develop and practice concrete skills that help them minimize symptoms and increase meaningful activities. Caitlin provides clients with depression with warm, genuine, and enthusiastic support as they interrupt the cycle of depression.
Do you often find that whether or not you have a "good day" is not up to you, but someone else? While many relationships influence our emotions, some relationships can be very intense. When we depend upon another person for our emotional wellbeing, we may often feel scared, frustrated, or anxious. Caitlin helps clients understand why/how codependency develops, and teaches them skills to become the leaders of their wellbeing.
