About My Clients
You’ve been carrying so much for so long that it’s hard to remember who you are without the weight. Anxiety, depression, or past trauma may have left you feeling disconnected, stuck, or constantly on edge. In this space, you don’t have to hold it together. We’ll slow down, gently explore the parts of you carrying the pain, and help you feel safe, seen, and connected to yourself again. You don’t have to go through it alone.
My Background and Approach
I work with people who feel like they are constantly battling themselves. They try to push down the anxiety, silence the inner critic, or outrun the sadness, but it always finds its way back. In our sessions, we do something different. Instead of trying to get rid of those feelings, we get curious about the parts of you that carry them. IFS gives us a way to hear their stories and understand what they have been protecting. As they start to feel seen and safe, they loosen their grip. The tension inside begins to ease. You do not have to keep holding yourself together while falling apart inside. You can lay it all down here and begin building a gentler relationship with yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing is not about becoming a version of yourself that is easier for others to love. It is about coming home to who you truly are. My approach is shaped by Internal Family Systems, which teaches that every part of you has a purpose and deserves compassion, even the parts that feel messy or unwanted. I also carry a Cherokee worldview that guides me to honor balance, connection, and community. Decolonizing our idea of healing means letting go of the pressure to constantly achieve or fix ourselves, and instead learning to be in rhythm with our inner world and the world around us. I see therapy as an act of care, not correction. I value creating space where you can explore your story without judgment and reconnect with the Self energy that has always been within you.
