About My Clients
I have worked for the past decade to help young people ages 14-26 in various settings. This time in one’s life is filled with transition, identity development, and emerging independence, and these changes can create anxiety, worry, changing moods, and lack of self-esteem in many. In addition to the normative developmental changes, young people today face a myriad of new, ever-evolving challenges in the age of social media, societal unrest + uncertainty, and pressure to experience success.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic style is eclectic, as each young person has different needs. I work to implement therapeutic interventions tailored to your unique needs. I utilize a mix of cognitive behavior therapy, mindfulness training, emotional regulation skills, and solution-focused therapy to help you. As your therapist, we will co-create a safe place where we can explore the difficulties you are facing, identify helpful coping strategies, decrease unhelpful thoughts, and increase self-esteem. I approach therapy with a warm, non-judgemental demeanor and a sense of humor with the belief that we all have the capacity for change. Available Evenings/Weekends!
