Anger comes in many forms, from many places, and happens for ALL people. It's something that requires an individualized and step-by-step approach to better understanding yourself, your needs, and your relationships. Anger doesn't have to define who you are, and you are worth more than what it is to let it control your life.

Your teenage years are some of the most transformative and impactful years of your life, especially when it comes to identity, relationships, and self-esteem. So, we shouldn't have to face it alone. I do my best to keep in touch with my teenage self, not only as a way for me to continue my own personal growth and healing journey, but also as a way to ensure I can help teens do the same to the best of their abilities.

My father always said my "ADHD is my superpower". And, contrary to what you may find in current social media trends, ADHD (and our mental health) is not some social movement we can join when it's convenient, nor is it some fad that people will eventually move on from. I am here to help those of you who understand the ADHD experience beyond "inattention" and "hyperactivity". I am here to provide support, guidance, and realistic interventions to help you reconnect with your *superpowers*.

This is my main approach to every session with every client, often focusing on gathering ideas, information, and interventions from various modalities and theories of practice. I do this in order to be flexible and personal in our work, ensuring we effectively explore your concerns, face them head-on, and maintain progress using the most individualized approach possible.

The Humanistic approach combines some of my favorite therapies to guide the exploration of our emotions and behaviors, take actionable steps toward change, and build accountability. In a safe, supportive space, this encourages awareness of patterns, self-discovery, and hands-on engagement with emotions - fostering personal growth, insight, and resilience.

EMDR is a structured, step-by-step way to help the mind “rework” distressing or traumatic memories, so they no longer cause intense emotional reactions, supporting healing and emotional resilience. You and I work as a team to help you regain a sense of control over some of your worst experiences. I like to tell clients, "You are the car, and I'm just the GPS." This can be especially beneficial for those with PTSD, anxiety, phobias, etc.
