About My Clients
Do your goals seem beyond your reach? Do you know you could be doing better but can’t quite seem to get it together? Unsure of how get out of your own way and reach your potential? Sometimes pain from the past gets in the way of living in the present. Your own brain seems to work against you and it can feel like you are your own worst enemy. You can’t even catch your breath, much less hit your stride.
My Background and Approach
I use an existential, holistic, and somatic approach to help you reconnect your mind, body and soul. I have experience working with college students, athletes, professionals, parents, leaders, individuals on probation or otherwise impacted by the justice system, couples, persons with addictions, and people trying to adult… you know, humans. Before diving into counseling, I earned a Master's degree in Exercise and Sport Psychology, conducted research at The University of Texas at Austin, coached basketball, and enjoyed other sporty/nerdy endeavors. I read voraciously, eagerly devour brownies, provide loud and insightful commentary during sports games, sing passionately (especially while driving), hold full conversations with my dogs, occasionally hoop, and love a good laugh.
