About My Clients
I have worked with children who have had significant trauma histories (significant losses, abuse, witness to domestic violence), anxiety, depression, ADHD & ODD, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorder, developmental disorders, children in foster care, children coping with adoption, & children with adjustment issues. I have a history of working with adults & the elderly population who have been diagnosed with schizophrenia, bipolar d/o, depression, anxiety, PTSD & many other diagnoses.
My Background and Approach
I have been working as a therapist for over 11 years. It is my goal to work with you to complete a treatment plan filled with objectives and goals that you would like to address. I will teach you coping skills and we will collaborate to assist you on accomplishing the objectives and goals you create in therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in patient driven care and incorporating supports into treatment when available and/or appropriate. I believe every problem has a solution and that sometimes we just need to look at our problems from a different lens which is how therapy can be helpful. I believe that everyone learns something new everyday and that with the tools you will learn in therapy can stay with you and that hopefully you may be able to pass them on to someone else.
