About My Clients
I believe the relationship we have with others often reflects the relationship we have with ourselves. A healthy life begins with a strong foundation of self-awareness and self-compassion. In a busy and distracted world, it can be difficult to truly know and care for ourselves. I help clients develop internal kindness and become more intentional in their self-talk, so they can release shame, build self-trust, and live with greater freedom.
My Background and Approach
I am dual-licensed in Washington and Montana and run a solo private practice so I can give my full attention and care to the clients I serve. I approach counseling with warmth, honesty, and respect. Sometimes in life you need someone to walk alongside you--someone to laugh with you or be with you when it hurts. I bring structure to the counseling process by grounding our work with checking in with you on therapy, and creating concrete goals and plans. I work with clients to balance processing their past experiences, emotions, and building towards the future.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Our relationships with others is a reflection of the relationship we have with ourselves. If you want a healthy life you'll need to go to the foundation and develop a strong relationship with yourself. In an increasingly loud, busy, and distracted world, it is difficult to know yourself and love yourself well. I help my clients to develop internal kindness. Being intentional in how you speak to yourself in your internal dialogue changes your life and frees you from shame.
