About My Clients
I enjoy working with children 14 years old and younger. This includes toddlers and preschoolers. I have experience working with a wide range of behaviors, school refusal, defiance, chronic illness, selective mutism, adoption and foster care, depression, anxiety, divorce, ADD/ADHD, Autism, grief and loss, social anxiety and more.
My Background and Approach
I am a Registered Play Therapist. I use play therapy as a form of intervention. Children are often more willingly and free to express their emotions through play and the playroom is set up to accommodate the needs each child has.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I welcome children and families of all backgrounds. You and your child are free to be your genuine self in this safe space, this includes your religious believes, sexual orientation, political beliefs, etc. I am an animal lover and will often bring in my standard poodle, Henri, to join our sessions.
