About My Clients

I work primarily with adults and couples navigating anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and life transitions, using a compassionate and collaborative approach to help clients feel supported and empowered. My goal is to help people better understand themselves and their relationships, while building tools to manage everyday stress and emotional challenges.

My Background and Approach

I’m a direct, collaborative, and compassionate therapist who believes therapy should feel safe, supportive—and even a little fun. While the work can be emotional and challenging, I strive to create a space where you feel truly seen and understood. My approach is warm and grounded in creating real, lasting change, blending a focus on how past experiences shape who you are today with attention to the present-day stressors and patterns that may be getting in your way. Rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic, and trauma-informed principles, I bring a down-to-earth style to our work and often use humor to help make the process more approachable. Clients often share that they feel both supported and gently challenged as we work together to build insight, resilience, and meaningful change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

Our first session is all about starting to build a genuine connection. It’s a chance for us to get to know each other and for you to begin feeling comfortable and supported in the space. We’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, some of your past experiences, and what you’re hoping to get out of our work together. This initial session is also consultative—it’s a time for both of us to explore whether this feels like the right fit and if working together makes sense for your needs. As we move forward, we’ll begin to explore the patterns in your life, the roots of your challenges, and the strengths you already carry that can support your growth. Ultimately, you should leave sessions feeling both supported and gently challenged—with a sense of direction and something meaningful to reflect on or work with between sessions.
