About My Clients

My area of focus is on clients with a history of sexual trauma, the LGBT+ population, people in open/poly relationships, and the sex worker community. I work with clients individually and counsel clients of all ages and backgrounds with the exception that I do not work individually with children under sixteen years of age.

My Background and Approach

I approach counseling from the lens of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Oftentimes individuals with a history of abuse or who are survivors of various crimes, need to utilize additional services as well. Therefore, I am aware of additional services within the community that may also supplement you on your road to better mental health.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I genuinely believe that everyone can benefit from counseling and that the therapeutic relationship can foster a tremendous amount of healing and growth. As a therapist, I do my best to hold myself accountable as well and meet clients where they are, with respect for the unique strengths and struggles each of us bring to the table.
