About My Clients
I primarily serve children and adolescents ages 3–18, walking with them through challenges such as anxiety, trauma, and emotional regulation. I also work with adults and find deep joy in supporting those who desire to integrate their Christian faith into the therapeutic process. I believe healing is most powerful when Christ is at the center, and I strive to create a space where Scripture, prayer, and clinical wisdom come together.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from Southeastern University and am working toward full licensure. My experience includes working in both community-based and crisis settings, where I’ve supported children, teens, and families through a wide range of challenges. I currently serve as a therapist at Ascend Mind & Body in Lakeland. In addition to my clinical work, I’m actively involved at Lakes Church, where I serve as a leader and, together with my wife, host a Bible study for middle school students in our home.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My Christian faith is the foundation of my life and practice—it shapes the way I view healing, relationships, and the value of each person. I believe that every individual is created in the image of God, with a unique purpose and deep worth, regardless of their current struggles or story. I believe true restoration comes not only through evidence-based interventions but also through the redemptive work of Christ, who brings hope to the brokenhearted and strength to the weary. In my work, I seek to embody the love, compassion, and truth of Jesus, offering a safe space for individuals and families to be seen, heard, and supported. I see therapy as a sacred opportunity to walk alongside others in their pain, helping them find peace, purpose, and renewal through both clinical wisdom and spiritual truth.
