About My Clients

Picture this, you are meeting with your therapist and they say to you “you are so aware.” You know this already but you are struggling with how to help yourself because you've tried everything you can think of. No therapist has ever told you something you didn’t already know. You may have never found a therapist who is a good fit. Sound familiar? My approach to counseling goes beyond simply talking it out.

My Background and Approach

I work with teens and adults to uncover their unique strengths and resources to build resilience for life’s challenges. My approach is grounded in person-centered therapy with an emphasis on mindfulness, solution-focused, strengths-based, and somatic approaches. What does that mean? I empower each client to discover their unique strengths to build resilience for life’s difficulties. My approach seeks to provide context for your struggles, meaning we learn to work with your body and mind instead of against it. I am passionate about working with underserved populations such as the LGBTQIA+ community, individuals with highly stigmatizing diagnoses, and individuals with extensive trauma. Need a bit more information? Schedule a free consult with me to discuss how I can help.
