Our body responds to stress in multiple ways and it is up to us to manage those symptoms that can otherwise impair our functioning.

Attachment begins in the womb and continues to grow outside of the womb in the family dynamics. When ruptures are created and not repaired we suffer with attachment not only with the relationship with our parents but in future relationships (i.e. partners, spouses, kids, friends).

Attachment increases once we are born and continues to increase as we grow. Our attachment is affected when ruptures are created and impair our ability to connect with others on an emotional level. Repairing the ruptures and processing through them support a corrective experience and reset the default that will continue to get passed on; child bearing, social relationships, spouses.

Trauma happens to everyone and we all have vastly different definitions of what that looks like thus presenting the issue with how we address trauma in the most caring and effective way; EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing). Trauma keeps us stuck in fight, flight and freeze mode and further causes trauma to build up and block our greatness, EMDR helps process through and flush out negative impacts left from experienced trauma.
