About My Clients
The clients I work with experience a lot of anxiety: overwhelming or racing thoughts, difficulty relaxing, trouble making decisions, self-doubt, and feeling stuck in their head. My clients also often struggle to express themselves and deal with A LOT of internal dialogue. And the internal dialogue is not usually positive...it's often tiring and burdensome. All in all, my clients that experience this type of anxiety are after a more relaxed life. They want to enhance their ability to express them
My Background and Approach
I ultimately want to help my clients identify the roots of their anxiety. I believe that nothing comes out of thin air, so if we can locate the origins of the fear, self-doubt, troubled thoughts, paralysis in decision making, etc., then I think my clients can begin to get relief from their anxiety. Relief comes from learning what the anxiety is truly about. The best way to know if a therapist will be a good fit is to meet with them. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in offering psychotherapeutic care to anyone who feels they could benefit from it and my goal stays the same: to help you, whoever you may be, to clarify what's happening for you internally so that you can achieve and enjoy the life you want. I also believe psychotherapy should be available and accessible to everyone. Toward this end, I reserve several spots on my caseload for patients who can only afford a low fee.
