About My Clients
I work primarily with adolescents and adults who feel stuck, self-critical, or overwhelmed by shame. Many are overthinkers, recovering perfectionists, or struggling with habits that feel out of control. Some are navigating scrupulosity or compulsive sexual behaviors, and many just want a safe space to explore their thoughts and feelings without judgment. You don’t have to have it all figured out to begin—my clients often come in curious, unsure, and ready to be fully seen.
My Background and Approach
I take a compassionate, down-to-earth approach grounded in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and mindfulness. My work focuses on values-driven, shame-informed care, helping clients build insight, emotional resilience, and practical tools for lasting change. Sessions are collaborative and human—not scripted. We explore emotional and behavioral patterns, work at a pace that honors your nervous system, and focus on what matters most to you—not just symptom reduction. Whether you’re navigating depression, perfectionism, or habits that feel compulsive, therapy with me creates a space where you can be curious, messy, and fully seen.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be rooted in trust, curiosity, and compassion. Everyone deserves a space where they can explore without performing, where questions, emotions, and even irreverence are welcomed. I strive to make therapy inclusive and safe, especially for clients navigating shame, religious trauma, or experiences that haven’t felt understood. My work is guided by the belief that people are doing the best they can with what they’ve been given—and sometimes healing means permission to laugh, cry, swear, question, and still be fully seen.
