About My Clients
I primarily work with adults who have experienced trauma, including religious trauma and harm, and are struggling with the effects of PTSD. This can include a range of symptoms and co-morbid diagnoses, including things like anxiety and depression. I also work with couples seeking to relieve distress in the relationship and gain better tools to enhance it. I use the Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Sometimes we can feel stuck or trapped in hurt or a struggle. It’s in those times that we need someone to walk with us. I’m convinced that people are the expert of themselves, but that sometimes we have difficulty seeing that and need a compassionate and patient person to remind them of that, offer them a different perspective, and help them discover new tools for effecting lasting change. I use a variety of client-focused approaches to help each person meet their individual goals.
