Accepting Clients

Hi! I'm Brooke. I enjoy working with individuals from a person-centered and relational standpoint while helping them navigate difficulties.

Licensed Professional Counselor in Denver, CO

About My Clients

When working with individuals experiencing life changes, relationship struggles or divorce, I focus on helping them regain a sense of control and balance in their lives. I support people in identifying patterns, building coping skills, and strengthening their ability to manage difficult emotions. Whether you're struggling with anxiety that won't let up or carrying trauma that's shaped who you've become, I want to help you find your footing again.

My Background and Approach

I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings within the mental health field which has allowed me to support individuals with a wide range of concerns and life experiences. I’ve truly valued the chance to connect with people from diverse backgrounds and learn from the unique perspectives they bring. I have realized many people need someone to normalize their emotions and experiences in a nonjudgemental space and are wanting to gain some control back in their lives while others are looking to dive deeper into interpersonal relationship patterns and struggles as well as trauma experiences and related triggers. I became a counselor because I believe deeply in the human capacity for healing and renewal. We all experience seasons where the weight of life feels too heavy to carry alone. When working with concerns such as divorce, boundaries and communication, trauma triggers and experiences, I use a blend of implementing coping skills, psychoeducation, EMDR, ACT, and more.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am LGBTQ+ allied and advocate as I am able with individuals I see both in and out of sessions. I connect with other therapists and people from related fields on a regular basis to ensure I have referrals for people as they may need such as for eating disorders, intensive outpatient programs, dietician services and more. Meeting with these individuals also keeps me up to date on various topics and evidenced-based practices as well as attending continuing education courses, reading educational books, and more. I believe ongoing growth is important not just for the individuals I see, but for myself and all therapists to ensure we are providing the best care possible while being aware we cannot be specialized in all aspects of life or human needs.
