My Background and Approach
I am dually trained in clinical mental health counseling and sport performance psychology. I am passionate about creating change through the life-long process of self-discovery, healing, and empowerment. I provide an integrative and holistic talk therapy approach to support you as a whole person and hold space for all the parts of your identity. My approach to treatment is trauma-informed, evidence-based, and LGBTQ+ affirming. I provide individuals a safe and affirming space to increase self-awareness, process trauma, explore identity, and improve relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that nobody embodies only one identity, and everyone is unique and complex with multiple and overlapping identities. I am committed to embracing a philosophy of cultural humility that advocates against issues of racism, classism, ableism, homophobia, and transphobia. Antiracism and queer liberation are my guiding principles as a counselor.
