About My Clients
I work with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, burnout, hypersensitivity and hypervigilance, relationship challenges, racial identity struggles, and the long term effects of chronic stress and trauma. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy and at times will bring mindfulness and somatic tools into session.
My Background and Approach
My approach is person-centered at its core. I believe you're the expert on your own life, and my role is to create a space where you feel grounded enough to explore it honestly. Over the years, my clients have told me our sessions are the first place they've been able to exhale, where they don't have to perform, explain, or hold it all together. I believe that sense of safety is what makes deeper growth possible. From there, we can explore the patterns that keep you stuck, work through what's beneath them, and build confidence in trusting your own emotions and instincts. In practice, I enjoy bringing mindfulness and somatic tools into sessions. Chronic stress and trauma can leave you feeling disconnected from your mind and body, and grounding practices can help you reconnect with yourself in ways talking alone sometimes can't.
