About My Clients
Are you feeling held back by anxiety, negative thoughts, or unhelpful behaviors? I help people who feel stuck reach their full potential. I have years of experience in helping people overcome challenges and live more functional, productive lives. My practice is based in self-empowerment and non-judgment. As your therapist, I will be a listener, problem-solver, and advocate. Our work together will be centered on your goals and will give you lasting coping skills.
My Background and Approach
As a social worker and mental health advocate, I am passionate about making sure people get the care they need and deserve. I founded Eunoia Mental Health because I believe that therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating or overly formal to be effective. I take a relational, casual approach to therapy, but am serious about the work I do. I am happy to serve a diverse group of people. All religions, races, sexual preferences, abilities, and gender identities are welcome. Let's work together to uncover the true you! Eunoia Mental Health is a purely virtual practice. I have been conducting telehealth visits since 2017 and believe that video sessions can be just as effective as in-person therapy. I am currently accepting new video clients in the state of Michigan.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I found early on in my therapy career that a large barrier for some clients is believing they don't really deserve to get help. Because of this, I operate from a foundation of empowerment and client strengths. You have the strengths and positive qualities to lead a more productive, satisfying life. It is my job to find skills and tools that align with your strengths and address barriers as they come. I am no stranger to feelings of inadequacy, doubt, and shame. I am grateful to have found ways to cope with these feelings, and even more grateful to help others do the same. I am a lifelong mental health advocate and member of the queer community. I look forward to getting to know you!
