My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is active, collaborative, and solution focused. I practice from an integrative model influenced by Cognitive-Behavioral, Acceptance and Commitment, Contemporary Dynamic, and Dialectical Behavioral theories. My work is evidence based and informed by multicultural frameworks. I believe that a good relationship is essential to helping a client connect with, remain in, and get the most out of therapy. I strive to foster a mutual and collaborative partnership that offers the support, guidance, and structure necessary to facilitate growth/change. This process includes helping clients identify specific goals, gain insight, and build skills to support overall wellbeing and promote resilience.

I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy; it is not reserved for those struggling with mental health issues. Therapy is a tool for anyone who wants to live a healthier, happier life and achieve their full potential.
