Emotions are part of being human, but you knew that right? Well, I also like to think of them as indicators. Emotional experiences aren’t without reason, oftentimes they’re trying to tell us something. Emotions can help us uncover valuable information about our needs, desires, and areas that may benefit from healing. I enjoy helping fellow humans make sense of their past, as they work on the present, to achieve sustainable change for a more fulfilling future.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Understanding your experience matters to me. Regardless of the situation, I will meet you where you’re at and help you to identify and utilize strengths (which you already possess, btw) as we move closer toward the goals you envision for yourself. I believe my work with clients to be a collaborative endeavor that thrives in an honest and open space free of judgment. As a clinician, I’m passionate about helping fellow humans make sense of their past and find new meaning in their experiences. As a woman and grandchild of Mexican immigrants, I hope to help eliminate the lack of quality mental healthcare for groups that have been historically marginalized.
