About My Clients
Be it anxiety, depression, or processing through difficult events, therapy can be a safe place to take care of ourselves and our mental wellbeing. I have experience providing therapy to children, teens, and adults who are experiencing anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, and trauma. I also have experience working with neurodivergent individuals. I have the most experience working with anxiety disorders, especially in young adults.
My Background and Approach
I am dedicated to creating a compassionate and safe environment for clients, inclusive of all walks of life. My theoretical orientation is integrated, with a foundation of Person-Centered Therapy complimented by techniques of Emotion Focused & Interpersonal Therapy. If a person’s treatment may benefit from it, I may integrate techniques found in CBT and DBT though I do not consider these my primary approaches. Ultimately, my style of therapy focuses on establishing a therapeutic space that allows for client authenticity, so that we can work together to best understand what you are experiencing and finding how to help you move forward. Though I am an LMHCA, I am currently working towards psychologist licensure in the state of WA. I have both my MA and my PsyD from Northwest University. There is no “threshold” to meet in therapy; you are welcomed here, as you are. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with you, and to walk alongside you through this journey!
