I specialize in helping young people manage life’s stressors and emotional ups and downs. I provide a safe and supportive space where they can feel heard, understood, and empowered. I also work closely with parents, helping them become their child’s strongest advocate and guiding them in navigating school and community supports as needed.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Registered Play Therapist (RPT), National Certified Counselor (NCC) and also hold a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPSC) in School Counseling. I have over 13 years of experience supporting children and families in clinical and educational settings. I offer a calm, compassionate space where they feel seen and supported. I use evidence-based tools like CBT, mindfulness, solution-focused, play therapy and strengths-based approaches to help your child move toward their goals.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every child deserves a champion—someone who advocates for their success, nurtures their potential, and offers unconditional support and positive regard. I am committed to creating an environment where children feel valued, empowered, and encouraged to reach their full potential. When I’m not in session, you’ll find me chasing after my energetic toddler and two lovable dogs. I consider myself a coffee enthusiast and enjoy sunshine breaks. I make time for self-care whenever I can, whether it’s a family walk or hike with my Fiancé, quiet prayer and daily devotionals, curling up with a good book, sneaking in a workout, catching up with friends, or simply savoring a few moments of calm. I value connection, creativity, and play in my own life, and I bring those same values into my work with children and families. In therapy, I strive to create a warm, inclusive, and nonjudgmental space where every person feels seen, supported, and valued for who they are.
