About My Clients
My focus is on helping those who are struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, relationship issues, or life transitions such as starting college or a new job. I strongly believe that therapy should be a collaborative process, and I work with clients to identify their strengths and build on them to achieve their goals.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I have a background in psychology and a Master's degree in Social Work from UNLV. I was born and raised in Florida and completed my undergraduate studies at FGCU. I use a variety of techniques tailored to each individual's needs. I am particularly interested in helping clients who are experiencing academic or career-related anxiety, as well as those who are struggling with self-esteem and body image issues. Some of the therapeutic approaches I use include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and narrative therapy. Ultimately, my goal is to create a safe and supportive space where clients can explore their thoughts and feelings without fear of judgment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal beliefs and values are centered around the idea that every individual has the capacity for growth and change. I believe that therapy can be a powerful tool in helping people recognize their own potential and move towards a more fulfilling life. Additionally, I am passionate about promoting mental health awareness and reducing the stigma around seeking therapy.
