About My Clients
Do you want to quickly and effectively resolve trauma in as little as one, maybe two visits? Using a brain-based healing method we are able to do just that. No more sitting in an office chair week after week reliving emotions that are uncomfortable. In the Cortina Method there is an emphasis on not provoking unwanted emotions during our time together. If you are feeling stuck and want to get that jump-start to live the life of your dreams; this is the method for you!
My Background and Approach
The beginning of my career was in an inpatient setting within a crisis stabilization unit where I had the opportunity to work with a vast array of individuals from all different walks of life. Upon graduation I worked at the Department of Veteran Affairs then I moved into an in-home therapy program helping families to obtain and maintain sobriety in an effort to satisfy child protective services requirements. From there I went in to dialysis and was able to work with patients and their families navigating the world of renal disease but have since been focused on individual therapy and helping people feel better as quickly as possible. I am a very positive and uplifting individual and my energy and enthusiasm is apparent in my work. I am a trained practitioner in the Cortina Method due to my desire to want to obtain quick but long-lasting results. I'm not interested in building a long-term caseload but instead obtaining life-changing outcomes for the guests that I serve.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone deserves to be happy despite what has happened to them throughout their lives. In neuroscience we understand how trauma can impact the brain but we also know how we are able to heal the brain and create new and improved connections that can not only alleviate but eliminate symptoms. My goal is for you to heal and have the optimal life you desire.
