About My Clients
I work with trauma, chronic stress, and neurodivergent clients — many virtual, some in-person, some who incorporate horses or the outdoors
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in trauma and PTSD, with training in somatic approaches, Jungian and transpersonal frameworks, and nature-based therapy. I work primarily via telehealth with clients across Colorado, and also offer in-person sessions at my farm in Salida — including, for clients who want it, equine-assisted work as one option, not a requirement. My core approach is the same either way: healing isn’t only a mental or verbal process, it’s a nervous system process. Many clients come to me after years of talk therapy that didn’t quite reach the parts of them still bracing, still on guard. Whether we’re working over video or in person, I focus on helping you build a felt sense of safety in your body, not just insight in your head. I also work with neurodivergent clients who’ve often found standard approaches don’t meet them where they actually live.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people aren’t broken — they’re often carrying protective patterns that made sense once and no longer fit. I believe healing needs to include the body, not just the mind, whether that happens on a screen, in an office, or outdoors. And I believe the goal of therapy isn’t to become “fixed,” but to become more fully, safely yourself.
