About My Clients

Many of the people I work with appear to be holding everything together on the outside while feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or emotionally exhausted underneath. You may be dealing with depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, low self-esteem, or a major life transition and finding that the ways you have coped in the past are no longer working. My clients often come to therapy wanting to better understand themselves, feel more in control of their emotions, improve their relati

My Background and Approach

I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida with 10 years of experience working with adolescents and adults across a variety of settings and life circumstances. I bring a calm, nonjudgmental, and collaborative style to therapy, with the goal of creating a space where you feel comfortable being honest about what you are experiencing. My approach draws primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), and person-centered therapy. Together, we work to understand the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors, identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, and develop practical strategies for managing stress, improving relationships, and building confidence. I believe therapy should be both supportive and useful, with tools you can apply outside of sessions. For clients who want it, I can also incorporate Christian faith and values into the counseling process.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe each person deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and compassion, and that therapy should be a space where you can speak openly without feeling pressured to adopt someone else’s beliefs or worldview. I value personal responsibility, meaningful relationships, family, resilience, and the freedom to make choices that reflect your own values and goals. My role is not to tell you what to believe, but to help you better understand yourself, clarify what matters to you, and make decisions that align with the life you want to build. I welcome clients from a wide range of backgrounds and perspectives, and I strive to approach differences with curiosity, respect, and honesty. For clients who wish to incorporate faith into therapy, I am also comfortable integrating Christian beliefs and values into our work.
