I am a trauma-focused therapist passionate about working with individuals to heal and better understand themselves.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker in St. Paul, MN
I have extensive experience working with survivors of Sexual Violence and Domestic Violence. In addition to my recent years of practice in this area, I completed a year-long internship facilitating individual and group therapy for sexual assault survivors, and have certified and completed the 50-hour domestic and sexual violence survivor advocacy training through MNCASA.
I have experience working with clients of all different backgrounds with all different types of anxiety including generalized anxiety, social anxiety, trauma-related anxiety, transition-related anxiety, etc. I am trained in multiple modalities for addressing anxiety and work with folks to find the best treatment approach for their concerns and their personal fit.
My clinical focus as a therapist is trauma/PTSD. I have experience with many trauma-focused modalities including EMDR, PIT, CPT, NET, and more. In addition to the current trauma work I do with clients, I have attended many trauma-focused trainings including the first level of Post-Induction Therapy training (Pia Mellody's model focused on developmental trauma), DV/SV specific training, and have completed multiple internship experiences focused on trauma-informed/trauma-focused care.
