About My Clients
My clients are individuals, children/adolescents or families/couples who want to work on their relationships including how they view themselves as part of the relationships they are in. Children are often reactive to the relationships they have with parents and parents relate to each of their children differently. Couples are all building, maintaining or repairing relationships and I am here to help that process be as healthy as possible while attending to the issues from the past.
My Background and Approach
I work from a family systems perspective and utilize play therapy in various forms via most populations. I use my developmental knowledge to provide insight to adults while helping kids communicate better. I have experience working with the evangelical community and Christian network and how it affects relationships and self. I enjoy working with couples both premaritally or post marriage and have experience with stepfamilies, blended families and working with broken families. My goals are your goals and we work together to help identify these and put a plan in place to help you acheive those goals without feeling overwhelmed even further.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Life is precious and I am here to help you make the most of it in the place where you are and to find value in yourself as a human being. My personal beliefs are that my clients are unique and that their needs are also unique and though I study patterns in family development to help gain insight and provide awareness those patterns are applied in varied ways depending on personal circumstances and this journey of discovery is something we have to do together combinging my knowledge with your lived experiences.
