I am a Licensed Professional Counselor specializing in: trauma recovery, substance abuse, anxiety, relational issues, personality disorders, and conflict resolution. I completed my bachelor’s degree in Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2008. In 2014, I obtained a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. I have worked with several populations to include Developmental Disabilities, Children and Adolescents, Adults, Individuals diagnosed with Severe and Persistent Mental Illness, and Substance Use disorders. For over a decade I worked in the public sector providing case management, assessment, and therapy services to individuals with various treatment concerns.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone possesses skills to heal themselves. Through the use of insight, accountability, and acceptance we all can make positive change and effectively problem solve.
