My Background and Approach
With 15+ years of experience specializing in treating eating disorders, disordered eating, anxiety, and trauma in adults from diverse backgrounds, I'm here to help you develop resilience throughout your recovery process, to strengthen your sense of self, to improve your perceptions about your body, and to better manage your worries and impacts of past trauma and painful experiences. I also have extensive experience treating obsessive thoughts, compulsive behaviors, grief, life transitions, and identity development. I take care to view each client through a multicultural lens and to infuse curiosity, empathy, and humility throughout the process. I use a collaborative approach to empower my clients to embrace themselves fully and to cope more effectively. I'm here to meet you where you are, to understand where you feel stuck, and to empower you to live your best life.
