About My Clients
I focus on evidence-based treatments like CBT, to help individuals evaluate their relationship to their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. After working in schools for two years, I am intimately familiar with helping children and families manage academic stressors and navigate the school setting with minimal interference from psychological distress. As a former Division 1 college track athlete, I understand the unique demands and pressures placed upon student-athletes and other performers.
My Background and Approach
I have a graduate degree in social work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and experience working in a variety of clinical settings. I am passionate about treating kids, teens, and young adults with a specific specialty in behavioral issues, anxiety & OCD, and minimizing the impact of mental health concerns on academic outcomes. My aim is to practice evidence-based treatments that allow my clients to evaluate their relationship to their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors so that they can develop the awareness, flexibility, and resilience required to live in alignment with their values!
