About My Clients
My clients are often navigating trauma, anxiety, depression, or major life transitions — and many are neurodivergent adults who've spent years feeling misunderstood. I work from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective: your brain isn't broken, and you don't need fixing. Whether you're processing painful experiences, managing ADHD or autism in a world not built for you, or simply seeking to feel more whole, I offer a safe, judgment-free space where you're accepted exactly as you are.
My Background and Approach
I'm a CACREP-trained Clinical Mental Health Counselor with experience spanning foster care, child advocacy, crisis work, and clinical therapy with diverse populations. I've sat with people in their hardest moments — and I know how to create safety quickly, so from our very first session you won't have to carry it all alone. I'm trained in EMDR, CBT, and DBT, specializing in trauma, anxiety, ADHD, attachment, and life transitions. Your therapy won't be guesswork — it's grounded in proven tools that help real people heal. My approach is trauma-informed and neurodiversity-affirming: your responses make sense, your brain isn't broken, and healing happens in a relationship built on trust. Clients describe me as warm, steady, and easy to talk to. Taking the first step is often the hardest part — but you don't have to have it all figured out to begin. Reach out today, and let's take that first step together.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My faith is the foundation of who I am and how I show up in the world. It shapes my belief that every single person has inherent worth and deserves to be treated with dignity, compassion, and respect — exactly as they are. I was adopted as a toddler, and that experience gave me a lifelong understanding of what it means to find belonging and to be wanted. It's part of why I'm so passionate about caring for people who feel overlooked or unseen. I volunteer regularly with Lowcountry Equine Assisted Therapy, supporting trauma-informed healing for vulnerable populations — because I believe healing happens in many forms, and everyone deserves access to it. I care deeply about mental health awareness, suicide prevention, and creating spaces where people feel safe enough to be honest. Above all, I believe in meeting people with grace. We're all walking through something, and none of us should have to do it alone.
