My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts, I bring years of experience supporting BIPOC youth, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, ADHD, trauma, depression, and family dynamics. I use evidence-based approaches such as CBT, DBT skills, play therapy, and trauma-informed care to tailor each session to your needs. My strengths-based, collaborative approach ensures that you feel supported and empowered as we work together toward your goals. Whether you're seeking tools to manage emotions, improve communication, or foster resilience, my focus is on helping you thrive in a way that aligns with your unique strengths and values.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to fostering mental health in Black communities and advocating for racial equity. As a social worker, I believe in the power of healing through connection, understanding, and self-empowerment. I value inclusivity, compassion, and respect for each person’s unique experiences. I’m passionate about supporting BIPOC youth and families, especially in navigating trauma, anxiety, and identity challenges. I also stand in solidarity with movements and providers working to destigmatize and decolonize therapy to make mental health services more accessible and acceptable to all.
