About My Clients
I primarily work with teens (13+), young adults, and adults struggling with OCD, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, perfectionism, panic, reassurance-seeking, or avoidance. You may feel stuck in overthinking or exhausted from trying to get certainty. I also work with clients experiencing depression, trauma, stress, and life transitions. You don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out--we can start wherever you are.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with three years of clinical experience. I earned my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Eastern Washington University in 2023. Originally from Washington State, I've worked in outpatient settings with adolescents, trauma-focused treatment centers, and private practice. My approach is warm, collaborative, practical, and solution-focused. I draw from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care. With OCD and anxiety, we may work on understanding intrusive thoughts, reduce assurance-seeking and avoidance, challenging unhelpful patterns, and building tolerance for uncertainty. I'm currently completing additional OCD-focused continuing education to continue expanding my knowledge in this area.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your entire self--without judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. I value authenticity, compassion, and humor, and I believe you can feel genuinely understood while also being gently challenged to grow. I don't believe therapy is about eliminating every uncomfortable thought or feeling; it's about building the confidence and skills to respond to them differently and live according to what matters to you. Outside of therapy, I'm originally from Washington State and now call Texas home. I enjoy reading, travelling, and making memories with my family, and I'm a big fan of the horror genre. I love getting to know people for who they are beyond their diagnosis, and I bring that same curiosity and genuine connection into my work with clients.
