About My Clients
You have an internal sense of who you are and what you want, but you might not know where to turn for help. Maybe you tried to figure things out on your own, or you confided in unsafe people. Whatever your past led you, I'm here to support you on a new path to exploring your true self.
My Background and Approach
I work with clients to support improving boundaries, building a strong sense of self, managing distress, overcoming trauma, and creating more fulfilling relationships. I provide a unique, unconditional space for you to tell your story and explore your beliefs. Together, we'll collaborate and develop a plan for what you want your life to look like. You can expect to be wholly accepted and, at the same time, challenged for the things that you have been settling for. **I specialize in working with couples and individuals who identify with the LGBTQIA+ community. We could focus on topics related to your identity or work on a solution for what you believe is relevant to your self-development.**
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Therapy can be a wonderful opportunity to take a fresh look at what you believe about yourself and the people in your life– and this insight can bring new options. I firmly believe that each of us has an internal sense of who we are, what we want, and what’s best for us. But if you learned to hide your fears or challenges while you were growing up, it might be hard to ask for help. If being critical of yourself was going to work, it would have worked by now. Even if a certain way of doing things made sense as a child, these problem-solving skills might have outlived their usefulness. This is where therapy can help. Therapy is active, interesting, and life-changing.
