About My Clients
Let’s be honest, life can be tough. Constant changes, daily stressors, relationship woes, anxiety issues, low self esteem and insecurities. I specialize in helping clients work through issues of depression, anxiety, low self esteem and confidence, relational challenges, poor communication, and challenging life transitions. I take an integrated approach to therapy by using a wide range of therapeutic approaches to help clients address and navigate their individual therapeutic concerns and needs.
My Background and Approach
My target population are women and minorities. My therapeutic approaches include Person-Centered Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Multicultural/Culturally-Sensitive Therapy. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believes healthy and effective communication is key to successful and mutually beneficial relationships with others. I like to provide an open environment that allows honest yet relaxed communication. I welcome individuals from various backgrounds, races, cultures, religious beliefs and life experiences. As a Black woman, I understand firsthand race, gender, culture and identity related issues. I embrace the challenging conversations and aim to provide the genuine support and therapeutic feedback that fosters exploration, growth and healing.
