About My Clients
Your journey is paramount, and I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences.
My Background and Approach
I earned my M.S. in Counseling with a Rehabilitation concentration from LSU Shreveport in 2023. I’ve worked in diverse settings, including college counseling, community mental health, PHP, IOP, inpatient, and private practice, giving me a well-rounded perspective to support clients through a range of challenges. My approach is collaborative and flexible, integrating evidence-based techniques with your unique interests and strengths. Whether we’re practicing mindfulness like progressive muscle relaxation, processing life experiences, or using music to deepen insight, I aim to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered in your growth.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a clinician, I value authenticity, equity, and compassion, both inside and outside the therapy space. I believe mental health care should be inclusive, accessible, and culturally responsive. I’m committed to creating a space where all identities and experiences are welcomed and respected. I’m a member of the LGBTQIA+ community and support movements like Black Lives Matter and broader social justice efforts that work toward dismantling systemic oppression. Outside of therapy, I’m passionate about creativity, music, and community connection. I believe healing can happen in many forms through art, expression, shared stories, and safe relationships. My goal is to walk alongside you in a way that affirms your voice and honors your lived experiences.
