Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing, and releasing core neuro-physiological sources of emotional and physical pain, and unhealthy coping mechanisms associated with trauma and other stressors. It allows you to channel the healthy "head" knowledge you possess to transform debilitating traumatic memories and​ the negative beliefs you feel in relation to the incident(s).

With IFS Informed parts work, the goal is that you will achieve trauma resolution by recognizing exiled parts and giving these parts a voice. This process will help develop an embodied sense of self that can compassionately hold your emotions, vulnerable sensations, and young parts of self in a way that is not harmful to you or others.

TCTSY employs physical forms and movements, though, the emphasis is not on the external expression or appearance (i.e. doing it "right"), or receiving the approval of an external authority. Rather, the focus is on your internal experience. With TCTSY, the power resides within you, not the therapist/facilitator. By focusing on the felt sense of the body to inform choice-making, TCTSY allows you to restore your connection of mind and body and cultivate a sense of agency.
