About My Clients
I specialize in finding healthy coping skills, navigating life transitions & stressors, self esteem/image, adjustment difficulties, emotional regulation, attachment issues, executive functioning challenges, &/or social relationships. Therapy can be overwhelming & intimidating. I meet clients where they're at, seeing them as more than symptoms or a diagnosis. I encourage identifying accommodating behaviors & finding ways to celebrate strengths.
My Background and Approach
With a neurodiverse-affirming lens, I welcome inclusivity with clients, including those of ADHD, ASD, or AuDHD identities. I take a person-centered approach to my sessions. While I do have experience running groups & individual sessions using DBT concepts, I mostly use an approach that combines elements of ACT, EFT, attachment theories, & IFS. We collaborate to identify thought & behavioral patterns connected to development & early experiences that keep you stuck, while learning to understand & embrace those parts of you. As a neurodivergent individual myself, I understand the unique challenges that come for those experiencing the world differently. I offer a safe & welcoming space free of judgment where you can “unmask”, ensuring authenticity, acceptance, & at times humor.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I take an eclectic approach to therapy. Therapy should never be a one-size-fits all. In collaboration with the client, I tailor sessions to clients' identities, needs, goals, and boundaries.
