About My Clients
Are you someone who struggles with food and body image? You wake up in the morning proclaiming that you're going to be "better" that day, only to find yourself a few hours later in the same cycle? Does it seem like food runs your entire life? It can feel like no matter what you do, there's no way out of this trap you're in. In my work with clients I assist them in uncovering the reasons why food is controlling their life.
My Background and Approach
I firmly believe that mental health is not just psychological—it is influenced by a variety of factors unique to each individual. There is no one-size-fits-all explanation for why an eating disorder develops, as everyone’s journey is different. Drawing from both personal lived experience and years of working in diverse settings with individuals struggling with eating disorders, I’ve witnessed firsthand how these disorders can take control of a person’s life. But I’ve also seen the incredible transformation that comes with recovery. Together, we will uncover the root causes of your disorder and identify the triggers that fuel negative behaviors. Through this process, you’ll gain the tools to build a healthier, more sustainable relationship with food and your body.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins with connection to self, to others, and to the body we live in. I trust in the innate wisdom each person carries and believe that, when met with compassion, curiosity, and safety, people can reconnect with that wisdom and begin to thrive. I believe that recovery is not about perfection but about building trust in oneself, embracing balance over extremes, and creating space for growth, even in the midst of discomfort. My work is rooted in the belief that every person deserves to feel seen, supported, and empowered to live authentically in their body and their life.
