About My Clients
Working in community mental health, I've had the privilege of working with folks across a variety of backgrounds, identities, and mental health struggles. I've worked with clients across the lifespan, and am especially passionate working with millennial's (ages 18-40) who struggle with anxiety, depression, post-traumatic stress disorder, and ADHD. The foundation of my approach starts with trauma-informed care, and I've previously been designated as a Trauma Specialist clinician.
My Background and Approach
Hello, I'm Brian (preferred pronouns: he/him/his) and I'm a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker working as a therapist in the Boston area for over seven years. My experience includes working in outpatient mental health settings such as community mental health centers, Boston Public Schools, a therapeutic day school, and as a Clinical Supervisor. I'm currently accepting new clients and am happy to schedule an informational phone call or talk over email. We can discuss your current needs, the therapeutic process, and myself as a clinician. I'll be in contact if I can appropriately serve you given your expressed needs. If not, I will be sure to direct you to resources to explore further options.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about the climate justice movement and participate in nonviolent direct actions combating climate change outside of my professional life. I integrate this passion into my practice by working with clients dealing with eco anxiety, climate anxiety, and solastalgia.
